- Our 1083 series features the domestic, 2-prong, Clear (transparent) North American Polarized Plug (NEMA 1-15P Polarized) with an LED with an ROJ.
- These North American power cords are ideal for powering your custom equipment. This power cord will plug into the standard North American wall outlet or receptacle on one end and will hard-wire into your equipment on the other end.
- This NEMA 1-15P Polarized Plug incorporates a design feature consisting of an enlarged neutral prong/blade. The enlarged prong/blade allows the plug to be inserted into an outlet in only one manner, guaranteeing that electricity circulates only one way through the cord.
- The clear plug of this cord is designed with a special feature: an LED is wired into the mold and when the plug is inserted into an outlet that is actively receiving electricity, the LED lights up. This allows you to check for connectivity simply by sight.
- An ROJ, or Removed Outer Jacket, is the result of stripping the exterior jacket from the power cord and exposing the conductors for the purpose of hard-wiring the cord into your equipment. Our standard ROJ includes the removal of 2 inches (51mm) of jacket and of 1/4 inch (6mm) of conductor insulation.
- Non-integral wire means that the inner conductors have their own insulation, in addition to an outside jacket around the inner insulation.
- The 1083.072P carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 10A - 125V.
