Our 1021 series features the domestic, 3-prong, 45° Angle North American Plug (NEMA 5-15P) with a Split Special.

These North American power cords are ideal for powering your custom equipment. This power cord will plug into the standard North American wall outlet or NEMA 5-15R receptacle on one end and will hard-wire into your equipment on the other end.

This 45° angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. Because of the offset design, we define the orientation of the ground pin as it appears in the drawing above. Here, the ground pin appears to be in the 2 O'clock position, so we refer to it as the NEMA 5-15P 45° (2 OÃ¢??clock Ground Pin).

A Split Special is the state of peeling the conductors apart on a flat-wire power cord and exposing the conductors, all at varying lengths according to application. Also, you will find that some or all of the conductors may feature a special terminal: ring, quick disconnect, flag, spade, etc ...
