- Our 1070 series features the domestic, 2-prong, Clear (transparent) North American Polarized Plug (NEMA 1-15P Polarized) with an LED with a Split.
- These North American power cords are ideal for powering your custom equipment. This power cord will plug into the standard North American wall outlet or receptacle on one end and will hard-wire into your equipment on the other end.
- This NEMA 1-15P Polarized Plug incorporates a design feature consisting of an enlarged neutral prong/blade. The enlarged prong/blade allows the plug to be inserted into an outlet in only one manner, guaranteeing that electricity circulates only one way through the cord.
- The clear plug of this cord is designed with a special feature: an LED is wired into the mold and when the plug is inserted into an outlet that is actively receiving electricity, the LED lights up. This allows you to check for connectivity simply by sight.
- A Split is when you remove the outer material of a flat-wire power cord to expose the conductors ¼ inch (6mm). Peeling the conductors away from one another 2 inches (52mm) also characterizes this configuration.
- The 1070.012PS carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 10A - 125V.
